Sergio Armaroli

Armaroli, born in Italy in 1972, studied painting and music at the Academia di Brera, the Academia del Teatro Alla Scala and the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Milan, as well as at the Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana, Cuba. He lives in Milan.
Amaroli is a painter, ‘concrete percussionist’ and sound artist. His music has been influenced by Sylvano Bussotti, Alvin Curran, Brunhild Ferrari, John Cage and Marcel Duchamp. He works closely with Giancarlo Schiaffini. Numerous CD releases, collaborations.
