French horn
Kakaliaglou, born in 1979 in Volos, Greece, studied French horn with Vangelis Skouras in Athens and at the University of Art in Graz, as well as chamber music at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. She lives in Berlin.
She performs improvised and new music as a soloist and in ensembles worldwide at festivals and in concert series such as Musica, France; Musica Nova, Finland; Maerz Musik, Germany; artacts, Austria; Sound LiveTokyo, Japan; Ultima, New York, USA. She is co-founder of the Rank Ensemble, Helsinki, the Austrian trio PARA, the duo Kakaliagou/Schmolliner, the duo Guerra/Kakaliagou and she is a member of Zinc & Copper, Zeitkratzer and the ensemble of CC Hennix.
